Because each Superior Load Cover is a precision-engineered, custom-made purchase tailored to individual vehicle specifications, all sales are final and no refunds will be issued. We stand completely behind the structural integrity of our custom craftsmanship.
We build our covers to outlast the competition. During the specified Warranty Period, Superior Load Cover (Pty) Ltd will repair or replace, at no charge, any components of a product that prove defective due to improper workmanship under normal use and recommended maintenance within South Africa.
Covers Purchased After 1 April 2024: Enjoy an industry-leading 48-Month (4-Year) Structural Warranty on the main roller cover unit (provided your warranty registration has been activated).
Lock Mechanisms: Covered by a dedicated 12-Month Warranty.
Historical Tiers: Covers purchased between 2015–2022 carry a 2-year warranty; covers purchased between 2022–March 2024 carry a 3-year warranty, subject to activated terms.
Component Replacement: Any replacement parts or physical goods assume the remaining balance of the original product’s warranty.
To maintain the premium performance of your springless rolling system and protect your investment, this limited warranty does not cover issues arising from external environmental factors, normal wear-and-tear, or lack of basic maintenance:
Debris & Lock Maintenance: Frictional jamming or faulty lock operations caused by the buildup of external environmental residues (such as heavy sand, fine dust, mud, or building materials) are not covered. Keep your mechanisms clear of loose grit.
Natural Acoustics & Terrain: Some minor acoustic events or natural vibratory frequencies may occur depending on unpredictable or severe road surfaces. Our heavy-duty design minimizes this, but the warranty does not cover standard acoustic feedback caused by severe road corrugation or extreme potholes.
Cargo Management: Damage to the internal components of the cover or the low-profile roller box caused by cargo shifting, fluid spillage, heavy impacts, or sharp, unsecured objects sliding around in the load bin is excluded. Always secure your cargo.
Slat Seals & Trim Components: Wear or damage to the high-performance rubber slat seals caused by trapped dirt or small stones is excluded. The protective rubber lock cap is also excluded from standard wear-and-tear; please ensure it remains closed to prevent damage from extreme winds.
100% Waterproof Curtain & Weathering Realities: The Superior Load Cover roller curtain is 100% waterproof, engineered with an international IP65-rated rubber sealing gasket between the aluminum slats to completely block out water and dust. While the cover itself is entirely impervious to water, a vehicle’s factory load bin is inherently not a sealed environment. Therefore, this warranty does not cover minor water ingress resulting from factors beyond the cover’s control, such as blocked drainage pipes, factory gaps around the vehicle’s tailgate/body, water entering through aftermarket plastic styling bars, or natural atmospheric condensation inside the bin.
Unlike competitors who completely void coverage for self-installation, the Superior Load Cover is designed for precise, tool-friendly assembly. We proudly offer our full Structural Warranty on DIY installations, provided the unit is fitted in strict accordance with the official instruction manual.
Please note that this coverage excludes:
Damage, alignment issues, or structural failure resulting from a failure to strictly follow the provided installation steps.
Damage or wear caused by post-installation dirt, sand, or debris buildup.
Fits performed by unregistered third-party commercial agents outside our official Fitment Partner Network. If you choose not to DIY, we highly recommend utilizing our vetted partners to ensure an absolute factory-perfect fit.
To preserve the zero-service engineering of your cover, the following actions will immediately void all warranty coverage:
Lubrication of the Rails: Applying oils, greases, or WD-40 type lubricants to the tracks (as these actively attract sand and grit, destroying the wheels).
Unauthorized Modifications: Altering or tampering with the structural design of the Superior Load Cover in any manner without explicit written approval from the manufacturer.
Misuse & Negligence: Operating the cover outside of its normal intended use, including negligence, overloading, or accidental impact damage.
Interfering Accessories: Installing third-party aftermarket brackets or accessories that come into direct contact with, or physically interfere with, the operation of the cover without written manufacturer approval.
Unsecured Loads: Failing to adequately secure cargo, resulting in internal impacts against the frame or canister.
Manufacturer Discretion: Any component verified as defective under these terms will be professionally repaired or replaced using new or reconditioned components at the sole discretion of the manufacturer. In determining what constitutes a structural failure, the decision of the manufacturer is final.
Non-Transferable: This elite warranty is tied directly to the original premium purchaser and does not transfer to subsequent owners of the vehicle.
Fitment Responsibility: The manufacturer does not accept liability for installation errors or vehicle damage caused by independent dealers, distributors, or fitment agents.
Consequential Damages: Under no circumstances shall Superior Load Cover be liable for special, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages—including loss of time, commercial revenue, vehicle downtime, lodging, or travel expenses—sustained in connection with our products.
Geographic Boundary: This warranty is valid and enforceable exclusively within the borders of South Africa.
